Comprehensive, Individualized Pregnancy
& Wellness Care

Midwives specialize in women’s health, and Willow AZ is owned and operated by two Certified Nurse-Midwives. Belinda and Diane have built an experienced midwifery team that offers comprehensive, individualized care for women in metro Phoenix, including maternity care, labor & birth services, and wellness care.

In a Boutique Birth Center

Our goal at Willow AZ is to work closely with you and your family, guiding you through the many choices through your childbearing years, and beyond. These choices include giving birth at one of our beautiful birth centers – Willow AZ in Mesa or Willow AZ Central in Phoenix, the valley’s premier midwifery practice.

 

Our midwives are trained in primary and gynecologic care of women including prenatal, labor and birth care, and in the care of a newborn baby. If you’re new to the gentle art of midwifery, learn more here.

SCHEDULE A TOUR

We offer a broad range of birth and wellness services,
here are just a few highlights.

Preconception & Fertility
Preconception and fertility counseling can make a positive difference to your health and fertility, as well as the health of your unborn baby.
Pregnancy Care
We will assess your vital signs, listen to your baby’s heartbeat, check your baby’s growth and position, and discuss your health, nutrition, and activities.
Labor & Birth
Your midwife will stay with you throughout labor and birth, encouraging you, making suggestions, and monitoring both you and the baby.
Water Birth
Water Birth is available to all birth center clients. We will monitor your baby with waterproof dopplers while you enjoy the comfort of warm water.
Postpartum & Newborn Care
Our team is available to provide postpartum support. Following the birth, a nurse or midwife will come to check on you and your baby with 24/48 hours.
Well Woman & Gynecology
We provide a complete range of well-woman and gynecological care including routine pelvic exams, annual check-ups, Pap, STI testing & birth control counseling.

Meet Belinda Hodder, CNM, MSN
Clinical Director & Co-Founder

Belinda has practiced as a Certified Nurse Midwife in the East Valley since 2010. Well known for her passion for evidence-based women-centered care, Belinda is a powerful advocate for a woman’s right to personalized ethical, consensual care.

Meet Diane Ortega, CNM, MSN
Administrative Director & Co-Founder

Diane, a Certified Nurse Midwife, is a licensed independent health care practitioner educated in nursing and midwifery, providing family-centered care to women of all ages. Diane has been practicing midwifery in Phoenix since 2009.
